Learn about A Healthy Self

Here is our story as to why we began this blog

We live in a world that is full of online experts and people that have the right cure or product for you.  Every day we see more of them appear in our mailboxes and in the result pages of our searches – the question for you is, how do you know what is best for you?  Like you, we have struggled to try to find what works for the family and us.

My name is Gerald and I am an IT professional; I am a father of three children with two of them living with severe (anaphylactic) peanut/cashew allergies, and over the years, we had to come to grips with the fact that becoming healthier is not just a fad but an essential part of living if I want to enjoy life to the fullest – which I DO!!  My partner is a natural health practitioner and along with her, we are constantly looking for ways to optimise our health and that of our children.

So in this blog, I will share some of the things we as a family have discovered to be important for our health – mentally, physically and spiritually (energetically).

Please note that we will be making every effort to only recommend or suggest products that we tried or had some experience with it. For any product or service that we may not have direct experience with, we will state that.  The reason we making a special mention on this is that over the past 18 months, we have discovered that there are a lot of websites that are just affiliate marketing blogs where they just promote products with no experience of the product and that is not our intention.

In some of our articles, we will have our own affiliate links to products or services that we feel strongly enough that not only we have recommended but we decided to effectively re-sell. Why? at the end of the day, we want to spend more time exploring ways to be healthy so we can enjoy life to the fullest, but we do need to pay the bills, so these recommendations, if you decide to buy, will help us to pay our bills.

Please do give us feedback, and we hope you enjoy the blog….
